ABOUT ROCK BREAKERS, INC.

“Rock Breakers begins where Huskie Hammers left off”

After 24 years in business, IPC Industries the distributor of the popular Huskie Hydraulic Hammer announced it was going out of business. Having worked for IPC for many years, I purchased all rights and assets of the company and launched Rock Breakers, Inc. (RBI). The main goal was to help customers maintain the thousands of Huskie hammers that were sold over the years. We have all the original Huskie hammer factory drawings “We are the only ones in the country that can honestly make that claim” And, with the help of some of the best manufactures in the country, we have managed to successfully reproduce the majority of the Huskie parts. We carry parts for the HH100 thru HH8000 Huskie hammers and can ship most items within 24 hours. It’s been a good journey so far and it’s going to get better.

Thank you for your time, and let us know how we can keep your hammers hitting and your machines moving.

What is Rock Breakers (RBI)?

Rock breakers Inc. was started in 2010 to help support more the 10,000 hammers sold by IPC Industries. IPC was the sister company of Izumi Products Company located in Matsumoto, Japan. Izumi manufactured Huskie Hammers for 25 years and still makes the compression tools sold by Huskie Tools Inc. today. Huskie Tools Inc. (HTI) has always been an independent company. The only connection between IPC, Huskie Hammers, and Huskie Tools is that both the hammers and compression tools were made by the same company…Izumi

HYDRAULIC HAMMER FEATUERS

A HAMMER FOR EVERY JOB

Get the right Huskie hammer for you project. Choose from the twelve different models.

ONYL TWO MOVING PARTS

Our unique design features only two moving parts. With fewer parts, Huskie & RBI hammers are field service-able without special tools.

TRUE HYDRAULIC OPERATING CYCLE

No high pressure (350-600 psi/ 42-49 bar) accumulator charge. Huskie & RBI hammers feature a “gas assist” cycle, using the hydraulic system to provide most of the firing power.

LOW RECOIL

A large amount of hammer recoil occurs on the “rebound” or cocking stroke. The low-pressure nitrogen charge cushions recoil, thus protecting the carrier.

MINIMUM HYDRAULIC SURGE

Our efficient, fully hydraulic design protects the carrier hydraulic circuit from damage.

OUR HAMMERS OPERATE FROM A VARIETY OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS

Huskie & RBI hammers are far less sensitive to system backpressure than other designs.

UNMATCHED VERSATILITY

The HH150 through HH1000 can be ordered with “Multi Fit” side plates. Move one hammer between your skid-steer loader, mini-excavator or loader backhoe in some cases.

SLIM, COMPACT DESIGN

The narrow, rectangular shape works in the tough spots other hydraulic rock hammer can’t reach, like tight trenches or crowded demolition sites.

HIGH POWER-TO-WEIGHT RATIO

Precision components provide high efficiency and longer service life. Pound-for-pound, Huskie hammers provide more power and blows per minute than any other hammer on the market.

POWER PLUS REDUCED DOWNTIME EQUALUS MORE WORK, MORE PROFIT AND DEPENDABEL PERFORMANCE

It’s a simple equation: the fewer parts in your hammer the less that can go wrong. Featuring only two moving parts and fully field serviceable; Huskie & RBI hammers will give you the kind if “up-time” you need for profitability and on the job efficiency.

INTRODUCING THE NEW RBI HAMMERS

Power is important and a RBI rock hammer provides some of the highest performance in the business. Our new RBI hammers have been redesigned to provide more performance than ever before. These new hammers have been changed in every way except the ones that are most important. They still feature two moving parts, a low nitrogen charge and field serviceability. What’s new is an increase in power (depending upon model) of up to 50% in the same package as before. We’ve increased the gas charge slightly, redesigned the pistons, main valves and internal porting.
